Goals

  • Design and manufacture a non-newtonian fluid speaker to study the patterns generated by different input frequencies

  • Presented at the Engineering Open House

Contributions

  • Mechanical lead, which included delegating work to other members of the project as well as leading the design and assembly of the prototype

  • Wooden base, additively manufactured speaker mount, and acrylic casing

Results

  • Functional prototype and presentation at EOH

  • An interesting example of a non-newtonian fluid
