Motorized Longboard.

 
 

Goals

  • Design and prototype a motorized longboard

  • Goal of implementing force sensing resistors to control the longboard based on the rider's center of mass


Contributions

  • FullComplete design, prototyping, and manufacturing of the final product

  • Calculated various specifications, in order to prevent overheating and maximize efficiency

  • Built a fully functional prototype, using 3D modeling and printing

  • Integrated a micro controller to control the board based on the rider’s center of mass


Results

  • Final prototype could ride at high speeds for over 10 miles
