Goals
Design and manufacture a vehicle, powered by a 20V drill
Must complete a maneuverability course as quickly as possible
Contributions
Complete design, manufacturing, and assembly of the drivetrain, including use of 2-axis mills, CNC mills, lathes, and laser cutters
Played a critical role in the ideation process, contributing heavily to the final design choice
Analyzed components both computationally (using SolidWorks) and analytically, including gear calculations for optimal drive performance and structural analysis of the frame
Results
Completed the maneuverability course in under one minute, resulting in a top 5 finish
