These planetary gears, designed to be used in a chocolate 3D printer’s extruder, are stackable, allowing for an exponential increase in gear ratio

Part of my work for Sandia National Labs, this additively manufactured passive shock failsafe irreversibly breaks a circuit at prescribed shock profiles

Similar to the MSF, this PASS system irreversibly breaks a circuit when loaded with prescribed shock profiles
Objet30 Exhaust Adapter
An abridged product design cycle on an exhaust adapter for a Stratasys Objet30 3D printer, as part of my internship at Syncroness
Drill Powered Vehicle
As the final project for Component Design, this tricycle is powered completely by a 20v electric motor
Motorized Longboard
As my high school capstone project, this motorized longboard implements force sensing resistors to control the board based on the rider’s center of mass
Centrifugal Cooler
This centrifugal can cooler decreases the temperature of drinks over twice as fast as a traditional cooler
Ping-Pong Ball Launcher
This ping pong ball launcher has 20 power settings, 15 angle settings, and 3 spring options, resulting in 900 possible flight paths
Non-Newtonian Speaker
This Engineering Open House project displayed the different modes of vibration in non-newtonian fluids by playing various frequencies out of a speaker

This laser cut project models a 3-dimensional sine wave by implementing an offset circular cam system

This classic (literally) prank keeps party guests from drinking too much. The bell siphon mechanism will drain the entire drink if the user tries to fill it too full
2-Way Sign
This fun project, inspired by some old signs on the Google campus, reads two different words when seen from different angles

A true testament to my interest in mechanical engineering, this project from 2008 attempted to harness wind power to drive a vehicle
